Aja Greene is the visionary Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Aja Takes Action Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering small business owners, youth, and families through education, mentorship, financial literacy, and community advancement initiatives. Guided by compassion and purpose-driven leadership, Aja has built a foundation centered on action—creating programs that remove barriers, open doors, and inspire individuals to transform their lives.
A native of Miami, Florida, Aja is a powerhouse entrepreneur and the force behind The Ajapreneur Group, which includes The Ajapreneur Consulting Agency, AjaHRPRO Services, and Purple Garden Health Bar. Her journey from having –$3.71 in her bank account to building a six-figure business in only six months is a living testament to resilience, hope, and the power of taking strategic action.
Her passion for community impact led her to establish Aja Takes Action Foundation, where the mission is simple yet powerful: to empower, educate, and equip people with the tools to achieve lasting success. Under her leadership, the foundation supports small business owners through grants, business development training, financial literacy workshops, and mentorship opportunities. She has personally helped over 200 entrepreneurs strengthen their operations, gain clarity, and build sustainable businesses.
Aja’s commitment also extends deeply to youth and families. Through the foundation’s workforce readiness initiatives, career-building programs, youth entrepreneurship training, and support services for single mothers, she champions pathways that foster confidence, independence, and long-term generational success. Her belief is that when communities are given the right resources, knowledge, and support, they can break cycles, build wealth, and rise together.
A respected community leader, Aja has been featured in Who’s Who in Black Atlanta, Voyage ATL Magazine, and Rockdale 23 TV, and was honored as Conyers-Rockdale’s “Rockin’ Woman of the Year” in 2021. She holds degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Business Management (HR Concentration), further grounding her work in communication excellence and organizational leadership.
Known for her authenticity, passion, and fearless determination, Aja believes that real change begins with action. Through her foundation and her entrepreneurial work, she continues to inspire individuals of all ages to pursue purpose, lean into possibility, and create better futures for themselves and their communities.
When she’s not building businesses or developing community programs, Aja enjoys spending time with her family, a competitive game of billiards, and dominating at Uno.
